DOCTORS MAKING HOUSECALLS is a group of 15 experienced, board-certified physicians dedicated to providing care in the comfort and convenience of your home or office. We specialize in the care of complex patients, but we're happy to address routine problems as well. Our service improves access to care and quality of care by combining clinical excellence with uncommonly high levels of service and personalized attention. 

We are "in network" with just about every government and private insurance carrier, and provide a broad range of services -- from urgent care to comprehensive, patient-centered, primary care for the long-term management of any medical condition, including mental health issues. 

We provide whatever tests and studies might be required to fully evaluate and treat any medical problem. In fact, we can do more in your home or place of business than most physicians do in their office, including complete physicals, blood tests and panels, x-rays, EKGs, sonagrams and doppler studies! 

Our physicians specialize in adult (internal) medicine, geriatrics, family medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry. When the needs of our patients require subspecialty expertise not represented within our group (e.g. cardiology, gastroenterology, dermatology), we refer to consultants carefully chosen by our medical director, or work with subspecialists already established with our patients. 

We see patients from 2 to 102 years old, in homes, business, hotels and retirement communities throughout the Triangle -- from Burlington to Wake Forest, Pittsboro to Garner, and everywhere in between.

We are "in-network providers" with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Cigna and all other private insurance except United HealthCare.  We also accept and file Medicare and Medicaid; and yes, we are accepting new Medicare patients! 

We file all insurance forms and, for your convenience, accept credit cards for payment of charges not covered by insurance, such as co-pays, deductibles, and our trip charge where applicable.  Because we accept every insurance and do not charge an annual fee, we believe our service is affordable for almost everyone.
